The purpose of this website is to keep members of the EAA CH 47 their families and friends informed of the current events for the club. EAA CHAPTER 47 is a group of pilots that share a common goal to improve aviation awareness, safety, knowledge, and to promote aviation through the Young Eagles and Flying Start Programs. EAA CHAPTER 47 meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the AWAPS Building at Albert Whitted Airport. Enter through Gate 5 and park to your left. |

Celebrate July 4, 2008 with EAA CH 47 and AWAPS and Bring your family at 451 8th Ave S.E. If you are not a member you can join on the 4TH. Albert Whitted Airport is one of the best places in town to watch the fireworks. Plenty of parking and very little traffic. We will have the traditional Picnic, fun and food including burgers, hotdogs bake beans, salads, watermelon deserts and beverages. Bring a salad or desert to share and a portable chair. July 5, 2008 is another AWAPS all you can eat pancake breakfast starts at 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Albert Whitted Airport AWAPS building
