SPECIAL ANNUAL TRIBUTE DINNER FOR 2008

The Chapter 47 Dining Out Tribute Dinner was a big success with around 32 people in attendance on

Friday March 17th 2008 at the Tierra Verde Community Center

who is  a charter member of

    EAA Chapter 47 and the award

was presented by Jack Tunstill.

               Hal Melkonian received  the

              Golden Wings Award from

           EAA CH 47 by  PresidentGlenn

           Anderson.  Hal is a charter

           member of the chapter and has

         held several offices and has been

                  been a great supported.

  Keith Kewley received  the Silver Wings Award

from EAA CH 47 President Glenn Anderson.

 Keith is an active member of the chapter and

       has held several offices. He is also very

active as a pilot for the

Young Eagles Program.

A group of CH47 pilots have been flying to various Florida airports for breakfast on  the average of once each month  for the last several years.  Come to the monthly EAA CH47 meeting to learn more about the Fly-ins.

This Flying Start Flight was to Cedar Key  in May, 2008 with 5 members from  Clearwater EAA CH 282 and 2 from  EAA CH 47.
